Check-in, Payment Method, and Terms
Are cash deposits accepted?
The hotel requires a $250 deposit at checkin. Accepted forms of payment are credit card, debit, or cash.
Do you accept pre-paid credit cards?
Pre-paid credit cards are not accepted.
Do I need ID?
Valid ID is required to check in to the hotel.
Reservations
Are we tax exempt if we are Status?
Any guests that provide a Status card at checkin will be exempt of all taxes. This does not apply to reservations booked and paid for through a 3rd party (Expedia, Booking.com, etc)
Can I request a ground floor room?
Guestroom floors start on the second floor, ground floor rooms are not available.
Restaurant
What are the restaurant hours?
The restaurant is open from 6:30am - 2:00pm, and 5:00pm - 9:00pm daily. The Cafe is also open from 6:30am - 9:00pm daily.
Is there complimentary breakfast?
The hotel does not have complimentary breakfast.
Parking
How much is parking?
The hotel does not charge for parking.
How many parking spaces do you have and it is accessible?
The hotel parking lot has 230 surface spots with the area in front of the hotel being accessible.

Is there an airport shuttle?
The hotel does not have an airport shuttle however the hotel can arrange a taxi pickup.
Who painted the artwork on the main floor?
Garry Meeches and Linus Woods, both from Long Plain First Nation. Garry Meeches created the artwork for all 132 guestrooms, and guestroom floor murals were created by Garry Meeches, Linus Woods, and Cyril Assiniboine.
Are you 100% Indigenous owned?
Yes, we are solely owned by Long Plain First Nation.

Does the hotel have playpens?
A playpen can be provided upon request.
Events and Group Bookings
How many people can you accommodate for a large event?
Maximum is 240 people for dinner at rounds of 8 with no dance floor, 200 people with a dance floor.
Does your meeting space have windows?
Yes, our Makozhe Ballroom, Makozhe A, and Akobiwag have windows.
Can we do Pipe/Smoke Ceremonies?
Yes, our meeting room floor was designed with this in mind.
Do you have a Knowledge Keepers/Elders room?
Yes, we have a small room designed specifically for Knowledge Keepers, it seats up to 4 guests.
How many meeting rooms do you have?
Makozhe Ballroom which splits into 3 smaller rooms, and Akobiwag (seats 40) and splits in half to create 2 smaller boardrooms.
Is your meeting space wheelchair accessible?
Yes, all meeting rooms, restaurant, and washrooms are accessible. The hotel also has 13 accessible guestrooms and 12 hearing/vision impaired accessible guestrooms.
Do you provide catering for meetings?
Yes! Our Food and Beverage team is led by award winning Red Seal, Cree Chef Jennifer Ballantyne who has created a fabulous Indigenous inspired menu.
Do you know a Knowledge Keeper to perform an opening or closing prayer?
Yes, we can pass along contact info upon request.
What audio visual items do you have available?
We provide a podium and microphone, LCD projector and screen or smart TV, included in the room rental. Owl Conference Camera, staging, and lapel mics are available for an additional charge.
Pet Policy
How much is the pet fee?
At checkin the hotel will collect $20 as the pet fee.
